Not bad, but nothing great IMO. First of all, the general look has dated horribly.

It falls victim to being just good enough looking that it lacks the retro appeal for me (something like a N64 cutscene causes no issues for me, and some old things like Jurassic Park Trespasser I actually find pleasant to look at), but still way to outdated to not look bad. Beyond graphics, the general direction is just kind of boring. It opens up with a long section of text exposition without any sort of interesting anything interposed to break it. Then it transitions into a bunch of generic fantasy imagery which does occasionally feature a standout shot but for the most part has little making it distinct among piles of similar looking works. Wow, twice in a row I make it to these as they just drop. This is amazing! Hmmmm I am not familiar with any of these games so this will be interesting.

I will say first impressions, I like both designs but Berwick Saga definitely has more going for it. Tear Ring Saga Tear Ring Saga gives me strong reminders of Thracia 776.
